Terms of Use

1. Description of Service

Zikporx is a Bring-Your-Own-VPN (BYOVPN) client for iOS that allows you to connect to VPN servers you configure yourself, using the WireGuard or IKEv2 protocols. Zikporx does not provide, operate, or sell VPN server access. You are solely responsible for obtaining, configuring, and maintaining your own VPN server(s).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree that:

• You will only connect to VPN servers that you own, operate, or are authorized to use.
• You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of any server you connect to, including laws regarding VPN use, data protection, and export control.
• You will not use the App to engage in illegal activity, including unauthorized access to computer systems, distribution of malware, fraud, or infringement of others' rights.
• You are responsible for safeguarding any credentials, private keys, or configuration profiles you enter into the App.

4. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any VPN server you connect to through the App will remain available or perform as expected.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR ANY VPN SERVER YOU CONNECT TO THROUGH IT — including but not limited to connectivity failures, data loss, or exposure resulting from your own server misconfiguration.

6. Third-Party Servers

Because Zikporx is BYOVPN, we have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the security, availability, logging practices, privacy practices, or legality of any VPN server you select or configure within the App. Your relationship with any such server, and any data handled by it, is between you and that server's operator (which may be yourself).

The App may use public IP-display and diagnostic destinations when you request public-IP or network tests. Those services receive ordinary network requests, including the connecting IP address, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

7. Privacy and Local Data

VPN profiles, app settings, connection information, and local diagnostics are stored on your device; sensitive credentials and private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain. Zikporx does not operate a user-account or analytics backend and does not receive your VPN traffic. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete information about data handling.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what is necessary to use the App as intended.

9. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where superseded by applicable Apple App Store terms.
