Privacy Policy

PDF Tuner ("we", "our", or "the app") is a PDF editing tool built by TechTunerLife LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use PDF Tuner on your iPhone or iPad.

Data We Do Not Collect

PDF Tuner does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:

• The content of your PDF files
• Any personal information (name, email, location)
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers beyond what Apple provides for subscription validation
• Crash logs (we rely on Apple's built-in crash reporting)

How the App Works

All PDF processing - merging, splitting, compressing, annotating, signing, redacting, OCR - happens entirely on your device using Apple's PDFKit and Vision frameworks. No file content is ever uploaded to any server.

Photo Library Access

If you use the "Image to PDF" feature, the app requests access to your photo library. This access is used solely to read photos you choose to convert. Photos are processed locally and never transmitted.

iCloud

If you choose to use iCloud Sync, your PDFs are stored in your personal iCloud Drive container (iCloud.com.pdftuner.app). This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your iCloud data.

Subscriptions

PDF Tuner Premium is a paid subscription processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only anonymous subscription status from Apple's StoreKit framework - no payment details or personal information.

Children's Privacy

PDF Tuner does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, social features, or data collection of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Use

By downloading or using PDF Tuner, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

PDF Tuner grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Acceptable Use

You may use PDF Tuner only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the app to process documents you do not have legal rights to edit
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code from the app
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

PDF Tuner and all related content are owned by TechTunerLife LLC. The PDF files you process remain your property. We claim no ownership over your documents.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PDF Tuner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Always keep backups of important documents before processing.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechTunerLife LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of PDF Tuner, including any loss of data.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Subscription Terms

PDF Tuner Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks all tools in the app.

Pricing

• $1.99 USD per month
• Prices in other regions are set by Apple and may vary

Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of each period

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Free Tools

The following tools remain free without a subscription: Merge PDFs, Split PDF, Compress PDF, Read PDF, and PDF to Text.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
